Access Statement for Befferlands Farm Holiday cottage and Bed & Breakfast
Introduction
Befferlands Farm accommodation provides a relaxing retreat situated near the Jurassic coast. We have tried to provide as much information as possible in this statement however, should you have any enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you to Befferlands Farm.
Pre- Arrival
- Bookings and enquiries can be made by phone of email.
- A car is essential to enjoy your holiday with us.
- The nearest train station is at Axminster (6 miles).
- Local taxis are also available.
- Nearest bus stop is half a mile.
- The nearest shops are in the village of Charmouth one mile away. There are two small super markets, post office, chemist, butchers,
news agent and hair dressers.
- Market town is Bridport 6 miles . Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- We have two dogs and regret that we can not accommodate any pets.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
- There is parking for 3-4 cars on a level surface.More is available on request.
- Arrival time for the Holiday cottage is from 2.30pm.
- For B&B we arrange to welcome you between 4pm and 5.30.
- Please advise if you wish to arrive at a different time or are delayed.
- Luggage for the cottage can be unloaded right outside and enter directly into accommodation from the car parking space with ease. The Bed & Breakfast parking is 14 metres away from the entrance. We are happy to assist with luggage. Both properties are approached from Berne lane.
- Bed & Breakfast guest have two steps (17cm high 45cm deep and 85cm wide), and one step (17cm high 130cm wide) to reach the front porch.

Main Entrance and Reception for Bed & Breakfast
There is a porch and the main entrance door is 108 cm wide and hinged to
the right. The entrance hall leads through to dining room one side and
sitting room the other.

Guest Lounge
- Guest are welcome to use this room any time.
- It is carpeted with comfy
sofa and chairs.
- Television, DVD player and video player.
- There is a log fire during cold weather.
- A large selection of local information, maps, books and games available.
- Wall lights and lamps.
Dining Room
- One large communal table Six high back chairs two with arms.

Stairs and Landing
- There are 10 stairs to the first landing 90cm wide with hand rails
both sides.
- The flooring on the stairs, bedrooms and main living areas
is fitted carpet.
- All doors to bedrooms and bathroom are 75cm wide.
- There are two
steps (10cm high 30 deep and 127wide) to reach the second landing.
Bedrooms
- Both bed rooms are carpeted throughout.
- There is central heating and
an electric heater and additional blankets and pillows in each room.
- Tea
and coffee making facilities. Fridge on the landing for fresh milk.
- Beds are made with synthetic pillows and duvets.

- The en-suite room has a king size bed 57cm high.
